Things are a changin'

Guess what we're doing this weekend? We are going to the UNC vs. BC football game on Saturday with GG and Grandbuddy (Gayle & Burt), but that's not the correct answer. Take a look at the picture to the left and you may get a little clue. Could it be lowering Amelia's crib? Yup! That's the big doings in the Brinson household this weekend.

Earlier today, I walked into Amelia's room (to see if she had fallen asleep for her afternoon nap), only to find a surprise waiting for me. She had successfully pulled herself up to a standing position and was very proud. Yes, our lives have completely changed. We now have a puller-upper!

At almost eight months (next week), Amelia's new trick is pulling herself up on anything and everything within her reach. She's also on the verge of crawling... up on her knees, rocking back and forth. For weeks now, she has been quite successful rolling from place to place. Watch out Gus (and mom!), Amelia's about to be on the move! Yikes!
