And the celebration begins...

My boy loves him some cupcake!
Two to be exact. To say Noah enjoyed his very first cupcake would be an understatement.

He picked up the cupcake and never took it from his mouth until it was gone... it was inhaled. The boy is a vacuum!

More joyful photos to come...

Snow Fun!

Slow start...

Don't hurt the tree...

Speed demon...

Sledding with Brenna...

This one's for Lee...

There's SNOW!

I was woken up this morning by a very excited little girl... "Mom, Mom, MOM... there's SNOW! Enough to make snow angels!"

If she had her way, we'd be out there right now - in the 26 degree weather - frolicking in the snow. Thankfully, I've been able to put her off for awhile, so I can fully wake up before I start shivering.

Stay tuned for snow angels...

Videos from the rink

A little shaky, but making great progress...

Noah's 10-yard sippy-cup dash... we must have done this about 15 times...

Sk8tr Grl

A quick post of some photos of last night's skating lesson (6 of 8). It should be noted that Amelia dressed herself... she wouldn't take off the "adorable" hand-me-down skirt Maddie gave her that she'd been wearing all day. She'd still be wearing it if it wasn't dirty from the rink. The sweater, a favorite gift from Gina, was the only one she'd wear. Of course, she had to also wear Grandma's legwarmers - "just like a real figure skater!"

It had been about three weeks since she last touched the ice... would she remember? I was a bit worried as I watched her march down to the rink door with the confidence of an Olympic skater. My little bird surprised me! While she's still shaky on the ice, the girl gets around. Adding a twirl now and then for some flair.

There's nothing better then having her skate over to me and say "Mom! This is SO much fun!"

Oh, how I love this girl.

Waiting for class to being, showing off her skating moves...

Mom, are you sure this helmet fits me? And, tell me again why I can't have a full-face hockey mask like the boys?!?

Look Mom, no hands!

I love the scale of this photo... big rink, tiny girl...

As always, you can find Amelia hanging out with the boys...
